Topeak F11 Fixer
Same program as the saddlebag Aero Wedge previously tested. The difference: the seal. The Wedge DRYBAG uses a waterproof fabric with taped seams and a roll closure system. The content remains easily accessible. It has support for putting a small lamp (optional). The bag seems very solid (more than the Aero Wedge, whose weak point is probably the zip). Simple and effective. Fastening system: fastening system (QuickClick or F11) is very convenient, it allows to separate the bag easily biking. It is often convenient to avoid dropping equipment on the ground by digging in a horizontal position (attached to the saddle). It is fixed on a support which remains attached to traditional saddles (two longitudinal tubes). But some stools (SDG) are beginning to integrate the system directly Topeak. The bag is also attached to the seat tube via a Velcro easy to remove and reuse. We test two versions of this bag in our trip around the ATV BUL Lure mountain and at the exits Journe: Micro and Medium. We have t happy. They are quite practical use thanks to the system including attachment (see below). The Aero Wedge bag is not waterproof, and when it rains lightly moistens the interior. The medium has a system that allows for accordion that stretch the volume of the bag, or to easily enter the hardware and then zip the fold to compact volume, is a good ide. The bags are strong. The fabric is rather strong (nylon coated with Dupont 1000D tflon) and some areas are plasticized. The interior consists of a main volume and a small mesh pocket, elastic and can fix the hardware. The microphone also has a small side pockets for storing cls Allen for example. Systm fixing: The system setting (F11) is very convenient, it allows the bag dsolidariser bike very easily. It is often convenient to avoid dropping the hardware on the ground by digging in a horizontal position (fix the saddle). It is fixed on a support which remains attached to traditional saddles (two longitudinal tubes). But some stools (SDG) will integrate directly start the systm Topeak. The bag is also fixed to the seat tube via a velcro very easy to remove and replace. Amliorations possible: we would have seen a double zip sliders. If the edges of the zip taient lightly elastic, it would force the closing less-clear at the time of the closure when the bag is filled. Tench (there are versions in tench Topeak, we will try to test them). This bag is quite spacious, even with the extension. It can carry a complete kit with a room air Repair Tool and it will remain in place. In BUL, we put a little more hardware (the tent pegs, etc. ). . . . .
